I spent 31/2 years going to school to become a dog behaviorist and trainer, I have trained for the show ring, a wonderful obedient family pet and personal protection. I have been training people to train their dogs since the early 1970's.

I have trained many high scoring dogs in obedience, many in conformation and personal protection. We have put on obedience and personal protection demonstrations at the King County fair for several years. 

A well trained dog is a joy to have around a not so well trained dog can be a huge pain.

Start your puppy at about 4 months of age be consistent, loving and go to a professional to  get the help needed to be sure the training is done right.

 You can leave your dog here at Mystic Acres Pet Lodging for boarded training or you can take private lessons. I recommend private lessons it is much less expensive and I will explain why we do what we are doing and I can answer your questions. With boarded training yes I train your dog but you will still have to come to learn the commands and have me watch you to be sure you are doing things the correct way so your dog know what it is you want from him or her.
